Angus Mackinnon's biography

 

Angus has over 13 years of digital experience working with and for some of the world’s best loved brands.

He co-founded two successful digital agencies, Nowwashyourhands and Playgroup between 2001 and 2007. Nowwashyourhands, which started out as a cult designer’s community portal, achieved a reputation for creating impactful, multi-media campaigns and became a NMA Top 100 agency. Angus worked with clients including the BBC, MTV, ITV, Camelot, BT and Unilever both before and after merging Nowwashyourhands with Cleara to form Playgroup.

Angus has won numerous awards over the last thirteen years including four Horizon Gold Awards for BBC Robin Hood and ITV Demons, a Golden Award of Montreux, a Davey Award for Stuff magazine, a Webby for BBC G.I.Jonny and a Cannes Cyber Lion and Milla D’Or Grand Prize for Ted Baker.

Prior to joining Kitcatt Nohr in 2009, Angus was Nike’s Digital Brand Director EMEA, responsible for leading and directing the development of Nike EMEA’s digital brand presence. His work at Nike included the most successful ever Nike+ digital campaign, Men Vs Women Challenge.
