Annette’s career started out client side working on the drinks brands for Mars GB Ltd. After 5 years Annette decided to take a year off to travel the world. When she returned she started agency life at TBWA-GGT (now Tequila) working on NatWest, Marks & Spencer and Abbey. Responsible for the largest accounts within the agency she led and implemented the launch of the M&S ‘&more’ loyalty card and smoothly saw through the two re-brands of Abbey.
In 2005, Annette moved on to CHI & Partners as Group Account Director and was responsible for the Telegraph’s first customer rewards programme. Within the first year, the business over achieved their subscription growth targets by 10% and at the same time spotted and implemented costs savings across the business by 25%. The other accounts that Annette headed up included the RBS credit card portfolio (both brand and customer marketing) and Argos’s eCRM strategy.
