WaterAid’s “Dig Toilets, Not Graves” campaign, created by Kitcatt Nohr, has been nominated for three John Caples International Awards.
The shortlist for the John Caples International Awards, which celebrate the best in direct and interactive marketing from around the world, was selected from more than 800 entries in 29 categories.
Kitcatt Nohr’s nominations are as follows:
Television/infomercial WaterAid “Diarrhoea”
Viral video marketing WaterAid “Poo”
Integrated campaign WaterAid “Dig toilets, not graves”
Kitcatt Nohr’s overall creative idea for WaterAid’s integrated campaign was “Dig toilets, not graves”. The campaign aimed to show how providing proper sanitation in the form of simple pit toilets can help stop the spread of diarrhoea, which kills 4,000 children every day in developing countries.
The John Caples International Awards presentation will take place on March 24, 2011 in New York City.
