Nationwide and Kitcatt Nohr Digitas have launched a campaign to promote the new Select Credit Card, Nationwide’s best ever credit card offer.
Kitcatt Nohr Digitas was briefed to create a campaign to acquire new customers for the Select Credit Card. The campaign targets existing Nationwide customers who use a Nationwide FlexAccount as their main current account, paying in at least £750 a month*.
The agency has created a campaign which includes direct mail, email and statement inserts.
The campaign is informed by Nationwide’s new “On your side” positioning, and demonstrates that, with the great benefits offered by the Select Credit Card, Nationwide customers only need one credit card in their wallet.
The new Select Credit Card offers 0% interest on purchases for 18 months**, unlimited commission-free purchases abroad, 0% balance transfers for 17 months, and 0.5% cash back*** on all purchases (in sterling) amongst other benefits.
Alastair Pegg, Head of Brands and Marketing at Nationwide, commenting on the new credit card said; “When we say “We’re on your side”, we really mean it. That’s why we’re offering our FlexAccount customers our new Select Credit Card. With the great benefits it offers, it’s the only card they’ll need in their wallet.”
* To qualify as a main current account holder, you need to have a Nationwide FlexAccount with a Visa debit card (not cash card+) and have paid in £750 or more each month (excluding internal transfers) for the past three months or complete an account transfer to us from another provider (or have done so in the past four months).
** 2.95% balance transfer fee applies, minimum £5
*** For cashback, keep using your FlexAccount as your main current account by regularly crediting £750 or more per month, excluding internal transfers
