Working at Kitcatt Nohr

When people join Kitcatt Nohr, they tend to stay

When people join Kitcatt Nohr, they tend to stay.

Partly this is because we’re rather choosy about the people we take on. They need to be creative, and intelligent. They need to have the strength of mind to voice a well-argued opinion. And the strength of character to take on board the opinions of others.

Another reason people stay at Kitcatt Nohr is that we help them to grow. We devote more attention to training and education than any other agency in our sector, a commitment which has earned us an IPA Gold Award for continuous professional development.

We help our people grow in other ways too: everyone receives an annual Cash for Culture allowance which they are invited to spend on their personal cultural enrichment. This commitment to fostering our collective cultural hinterland is celebrated each year in the Kitcatt Nohr Photographic Competition, now a much-anticipated fixture on the advertising social scene.

Above all, we always aim to act with integrity and respect for each other, and our own consciences. Even when this means taking a road that is commercially challenging. This principled approach has attracted a community of clients who share similar values. It is also one of the reasons why we have been voted one of The Sunday Times Best Small Companies To Work For two years running.

What our interns say:

I could not have chosen a better agency to work with, this is my first time working in the UK and I am so lucky that Kitcatt Nohr employed me. It’s a company that truly values honesty, fun and innovative thinking. Everyone is so friendly and helpful all the time.
Esione – Finance intern

I'm very grateful that I had the chance to be in Planning, I found the work really interesting up in the ‘hidden corner’ of the agency. Every day something new came up and I could have an insight into thousands of different things – I saved with Britannia, turned into a real petrol head with Toyota and Lexus, caught the digital bug with Waitrose, and even got engaged into the third sector with NSPCC and VSO. Planning is the place where you can juggle with a bit of data, use your creativity as well as picking up a bit of strategic thinking. You really get the panoramic view of advertising here.
Noemi – Planning intern

My internship at Kitcatt Nohr Alexander Shaw was perfect. The company has a very nice culture and I felt comfortable right from the beginning. The employees at the company are friendly, helpful and fun. I learned a lot during my internship and I increased my confidence at professional level. During my placement I got a lot of appreciation for the work that I did and the made me feel as if I was part of the company.
Mitra – Creative Services intern

My work as an intern at Kitcatt Nohr is diversified and very interesting. I am working on own projects in my department with lovely colleagues but I also gain insight into the work of the whole agency. From the client request to the final advertisement I have the opportunity to follow the complete process of creation and see how an advertisement agency works. Due to the size of the agency being manageable everybody knows each other and the working atmosphere is very familiar and enjoyable.
Susann – Planning intern

Kitcatt Nohr Alexander Shaw is a one-of- a-kind agency. The company involves all its employees and interns in the process of providing the most interesting and creative ideas.

For an International Business student from the Netherlands like me, it gave me a real taste of the advertising and marketing industry of the UK. The employers and clients are so lovely. They really made me feel welcome.
Caljenie – Front of House intern
