We recently had the rather dubious pleasure of being pursued by poos through the streets of London. There was a serious purpose: we were making a viral film to encourage people to sign WaterAid's petition at www.digtoilets.org/poo - and to stop diarrhoea killing so many children.

Every day, diarrhoea kills 4,000 children in the world's poorest countries. (That's three every single minute of every single day or night. So you'll need to read very quickly, or click the link above right now, if you want to act soon enough to save another life.) When you do, you will help WaterAid keep up the pressure for action at the forthcoming UN Summit on the Millennium Development Goals in New York.

That's what makes this viral more than just another clever advertising conceit. It's a way of illustrating the fact that millions of people can never escape their poo. And it's killing them.

But we can do something about it. We can make politicians take action to stop diarrhoea killing children. So no matter why you're visiting our website, please go to digtoilets.org/poo and sign the petition. Thank you.
