Heinz

It's here at last. The first thing I've ever bought on Facebook. Limited Edition Heinz Tomato Ketchup with balsamic vinegar.

That may hardly sound like a clock-stopping moment, but it's the first fmcg product I've ever heard of that has been promoted and merchandised entirely through social media.

All you have to do is go to Heinz's UK Facebook page, 'Like' the product, and then order some up.

Thanks to F-pay, you even hand over the money within Facebook itself, so you don't need to click away from the page (or even use an iFramed payment page from another website).

The only problem that I encountered was that the Facebook page kept crashing when I used Firefox as a browser. But it worked very well in Google Chrome...

Well done to Wearesocial for getting this done and out the door.

You can buy it at
